OVERVIEW
Description
The shallow-sea broadband seafloor seismometer is a novel device designed for monitoring coastal marine environments. Comprising a seismometer, battery compartment, anti-drop mechanism, hydrophone, data transmission unit, and drag-resistant cover, this modular system features detachable components for easy maintenance. Users can select battery compartments with varying capacities based on operational duration requirements. The instrument demonstrates exceptional resistance to fishing trawling, ocean currents, and marine organism attachment. During deployment, the core seismometer establishes soft contact with the seabed through a baseplate, while the baseplate isolates external disturbances to ensure stable seismic data acquisition.
Fishing nets
There are many shallow sea fishing boats. In view of this situation, the product is designed in a round table shape, which can effectively avoid being dragged by fishing nets
and thus protect the normal recording data of seismometer.
Intelligent control
The equipment is equipped with a water acoustic communication device, which can remotely monitor the operating state of the equipment on the seabed: the lock swing can be remotely controlled to send lock swing command before recovery to protect the safety of the seismometer.
Just hit bottom
After the whole machine is immersed in the sea floor, the bottom touching mechanism releases the seismograph to make it closely coupled with the seabed, which effectively improves the accuracy of seismic data monitoring by the seismograph.
flexibility
The core seismograph is equipped with a high precision leveling adjustment mechanism, which can automatically level within 40° and can adapt to various complex seabed topography.
