The GL-PCS60 and GP-PCS120 are compact seismic observation systems that combine a 60-second or 120-second broadband seismometer, 32-bit data acquisition, GPS timing, storage, and real-time transmission in one portable unit. It is built for long-term seismic monitoring with industrial-grade storage and low power use for reliable operation in the field.
Each instrument uses a three-axis broadband seismometer to capture vibration velocity signals and convert them into accurate voltage outputs. Its sensor design places three sensing axes at a 54.7° angle and 120° apart, ensuring precise measurement of vertical, east-west, and north-south motion.
