QL-R2 Autonomous Mobile Robot System
A compact, research-grade autonomous mobile robot with Ackermann steering, ROS1/ROS2 support, LiDAR, RGB-D vision, and Jetson Orin Nano AI computing—ready for advanced robotics and AI research.
OVERVIEW
Description
The QL-R2 Autonomous Mobile Robot System is a compact, research-grade mobile robotics platform. It is designed for autonomous driving, AI perception, and robotics education. Built on a professional Ackermann steering chassis and fully integrated with ROS1 and ROS2, QL-R2 delivers a complete, ready-to-use solution. It is ideal for universities, laboratories, and applied research institutions.
Powered by the Jetson Orin Nano SUPER AI platform, QL-R2 provides up to 34 TOPS of AI computing performance. This enables advanced development in SLAM, navigation, computer vision, and autonomous control. The system integrates a 360° LiDAR, RGB-D depth camera, IMU, and odometry sensors. Together, they deliver robust, multi-modal perception for indoor and outdoor research environments.
QL-R2 is shipped fully assembled and pre-configured. It runs Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with ROS2 Humble, significantly reducing setup time. This allows researchers to focus on algorithm development rather than hardware integration. Its modular expansion architecture supports additional sensors, CAN bus communication, GPIO, USB peripherals, and multi-robot research scenarios.
Whether used for robotics education, autonomous driving research, or AI perception development, QL-R2 provides a scalable and professional platform. This accelerates innovation and experimentation in modern robotics.
