GL-P2B has a built-in high-sensitivity 3-point microelectromechanical MEMs accelerometer module. Its data acquisition part is a miniaturized version of EDAS-24GN. Both have the same design in terms of ADC, embedded system based on ARM9 chip and Linux. GL-P2B also adds two functions: network NTP timing and network power supply, making it more convenient to use. GL-P2B has functions such as automatic detection of earthquake events, intensity calculation, and automatic estimation of parameters such as τc and Pd. It can output continuous waveform data and automatically publish earthquake trigger information, intensity information, and instrument status information through the network or SMS.

The GL-P2B is a compact, high-performance seismic recorder designed for real-time earthquake monitoring and structural health applications. At its core, the GL-P2B integrates a high-sensitivity triaxial MEMS accelerometer, engineered to deliver reliable micro-vibration measurements across a wide dynamic range.
Built upon the same advanced data acquisition architecture as the proven EDAS-24GN, the GL-P2B features a precision analog-to-digital conversion system and an embedded Linux-based platform powered by an ARM9 processor. This robust system architecture ensures high-fidelity data capture, reliable edge processing, and efficient communication capabilities.
The GL-P2B introduces several enhancements for modern deployments, including:
- Network-based NTP time synchronization for precise event timing,
- PoE (Power over Ethernet) support, enabling simplified installation with a single cable for both power and data.
The device is capable of real-time earthquake event detection, automatic intensity estimation, and calculation of key early warning parameters such as τc and Pd. It continuously streams waveform data and, upon trigger, automatically transmits event alerts, intensity metrics, and system health status via Ethernet or SMS.
