Description
GL-CS60B / GL-CS120B Downhole Broadband Seismometer is a high-performance, small-diameter downhole seismic sensor. It is engineered for broadband seismic monitoring in deep well applications. Featuring a three-component UVW symmetric suspension structure and stainless-steel construction, the instrument delivers wide bandwidth, high sensitivity, and low noise levels. It ensures stable long-term operation under harsh environmental conditions.
The system provides a differential output with a nominal sensitivity of 2000±20 V·s/m. Its broadband frequency response is 0.0167 Hz – 50 Hz (GL-CS60B) and 0.0083 Hz – 50 Hz (GL-CS120B). The system has a dynamic range exceeding 140 dB. Its integrated calibration coil enables accurate calibration and verification during field deployment. Additionally, the built-in locking and unlocking mechanism ensures safe transport and easy remote operation once powered on.
With engineered sealing sleeves, high-pressure resistance, and anti-interference design, the GL-CS60B/CS120B ensures reliable downhole deployment. It is used for long-term microseismic, earthquake, structural, and geophysical monitoring operations.
This model supports multi-depth installations via armored cable. It is suitable for scientific research institutions, oil & gas exploration companies, earthquake monitoring networks, and engineering geophysics applications.
