GL-PS2 is a state-of-the-art, integrated, and highly portable short-period seismograph meticulously developed to meet the diverse demands of seismic observation in various portable scenarios. This cutting-edge device seamlessly integrates a tri-axial short-period feedback seismometer with a high-performance 24-bit data acquisition system. It’s designed with a compact structure, comprehensive functionality, and remarkable energy efficiency, making it the perfect choice for applications such as portable emergency observation, reservoir earthquake monitoring, scientific array observations, and more.
The GL-PS2 digital seismometer houses a built-in, fully-fledged three-dimensional displacement conversion short-period seismometer with an observation frequency band spanning from 2 seconds to 50 Hz. Its monitoring capabilities are seamlessly integrated into the data acquisition component. The built-in data acquisition unit efficiently handles the extraction, filtering, and real-time calculation of three-channel collected data. It offers users two FIR filter options: minimum phase and linear phase. The collector features an embedded Linux operating system, endowing the GL-PS2 with robust data storage management and data servicing capabilities.
Through the LAN network interface, it supports multi-channel continuous real-time data stream transmission and remote FTP data file downloads. With 8G of built-in memory (expandable), it facilitates the long-term storage of real-time collected data. The time signal input utilizes IRIG-encoded GPS signals and supports NTP network timing functions, ensuring precision and reliability with a synchronization time difference of less than 0.01ms and clock stability better than 0.5ppm.
