It features a high-resolution Echelle optical system, ECCD detector, 160–900 nm wavelength range, 27.12 MHz solid-state RF generator, and dual-view plasma observation. In addition, the system includes analytical software, a workstation, a recirculating chiller, and calibration and validation tools.

OVERVIEW

Description

The QL-OptiSpectra Benchtop ICP-OES Spectrometer provides fast and simultaneous multi-element analysis. It is designed for routine and advanced elemental testing in modern laboratories.

The system combines a high-resolution Echelle optical system with a large-area ECCD detector. In addition, it uses a 27.12 MHz solid-state RF generator for stable plasma operation. Therefore, the QL-OptiSpectra supports accurate analysis across many sample types.

Full-Spectrum Elemental Analysis

The QL-OptiSpectra captures the full spectrum at the same time. Its wavelength range covers 160 nm to 900 nm.

Main analytical features include:

  • Wavelength range: 160–900 nm
  • Full-spectrum simultaneous acquisition
  • High-resolution Echelle optical system
  • Large-area ECCD detector
  • Thermoelectric detector cooling
  • Continuous argon purge
  • Dual-view plasma observation

As a result, stored spectra can support later review without repeating the original sample run.

High-Resolution Optical System

The instrument uses a temperature-controlled Echelle optical system. This design supports stable wavelengths and clear spectral separation.

The optical system also uses continuous argon purge. Therefore, it helps improve ultraviolet transmission while protecting internal optical parts.

Key optical features include:

  • High-resolution Echelle design
  • Temperature-controlled optics
  • Sealed optical system
  • Continuous argon purge
  • 160–900 nm wavelength coverage

Moreover, the system supports reliable measurements at low wavelengths.

ECCD Detector

The QL-OptiSpectra includes a large-area array ECCD detector. The detector uses thermoelectric cooling for low-noise operation.

In addition, it captures the full spectrum at the same time. This helps improve speed during multi-element testing.

The detector supports:

  • Simultaneous full-spectrum acquisition
  • Wide dynamic range
  • Low-noise operation
  • Trace-level detection
  • Thermoelectric cooling

Therefore, laboratories can analyze multiple elements during a single measurement cycle.

Dual-View Plasma System

The QL-OptiSpectra uses a vertical torch with axial and radial plasma viewing.

Axial observation supports sensitive trace measurements. Meanwhile, radial observation is useful for higher concentration levels. As a result, the dual-view system supports a wider analytical range.

The torch area also includes safety interlocks and an access door with a viewing window.

Stable RF Plasma Generation

An all-solid-state 27.12 MHz RF generator powers the plasma system. It provides automatic matching and plasma optimization.

Key RF features include:

  • 27.12 MHz operating frequency
  • Solid-state RF design
  • Continuously adjustable RF output
  • Automatic matching
  • Automatic plasma optimization
  • Fast plasma ignition

In addition, fast warm-up helps reduce waiting time before daily analysis.

Sample Introduction and Gas Control

The system includes a multi-channel peristaltic pump with at least three controlled channels. It also uses separate mass-flow controllers for plasma, auxiliary, and nebulizer gases.

Main features include:

  • Multi-channel peristaltic pump
  • At least three controlled channels
  • Independent gas control
  • Nebulizer
  • Spray chamber
  • Injector
  • Drain monitoring
  • Liquid-sensing protection

Therefore, the system supports stable and repeatable sample delivery.

Gas-Saving Operation

The QL-OptiSpectra includes an intelligent standby mode. This mode reduces argon use during idle periods.

However, the instrument can quickly return to full analytical operation. Therefore, laboratories can reduce unnecessary gas use without stopping the normal workflow.

Software and Data Management

The included analytical software supports the full ICP-OES workflow.

Software functions include:

  • Instrument control
  • Method development
  • Calibration
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Qualitative analysis
  • Wavelength correction
  • Background correction
  • Interference correction
  • QC monitoring
  • Data management
  • Report generation
  • Data export

In addition, the system supports autosampler, automatic dilution, and auto-injection interfaces.

Complete Benchtop ICP-OES Solution

The QL-OptiSpectra comes as a complete laboratory system. The package includes a workstation, recirculating chiller, calibration tools, validation tools, and installation accessories.

Overall, the QL-OptiSpectra Benchtop ICP-OES Spectrometer combines wide spectral coverage, dual-view plasma, full-spectrum detection, and automated control. Therefore, it provides a practical solution for environmental, pharmaceutical, geological, petrochemical, food, and materials laboratories.
