OVERVIEW
Description
The pALERT S303 is the latest advancement in the pALERT network accelerometer series, designed for high-precision seismic monitoring. Built with an IP67-rated enclosure, it ensures durability in harsh environments, while enhanced computing speed and expanded internal memory improve waveform storage and processing capabilities.
Developed in collaboration with Prof. Yih-Min Wu of National Taiwan University, the pALERT S303 utilizes Pd technology to detect seismic events within 3 seconds of P-wave arrival and issue impact-based warnings for proactive earthquake damage mitigation.
With three triggering algorithms (Pd, PGA, STA/LTA), users can customize detection parameters for optimal seismic monitoring. Configurable low-pass filters help reduce high-frequency noise, ensuring accurate data collection. The device supports multiple intensity scales, allowing flexibility in data representation and analysis.
Equipped with event storage capabilities, users can retrieve key seismic data, including triggering time, maximum intensity, PGA per component, and vector acceleration data.
Applications
Seismic Monitoring Array
Industrial Disaster Prevention
Earthquake Early Warning (EEW)
Rapid Structural Health Diagnostic (RSHD)
Best Suited For
Residential Buildings
Factories & Industrial Plants
Schools & Public Facilities
With advanced features, robust design, and real-time processing, the pALERT S303 is an ideal solution for seismic monitoring, disaster prevention, and earthquake early warning systems.
