OVERVIEW
Description
The Digital Array (DA) is a compact, cost-effective, and portable real-time data logger (digitizer) designed for efficient multi-sensor data acquisition. It seamlessly connects mono-, bi-, or triaxial accelerometers, tiltmeters, and seismometers via a high-speed digital bus, enabling flexible sensor combinations with precise synchronization. In the DA system, each sensor is digital.
A PC interface or SL06 recorder with GPS ensures accurate timing, data logging, and processing. Each branch supports up to 8 nodes, with multiple branches capable of streaming data over TCP/IP and SeedLink protocols.
Key Features:
✅ Ideal for Earthquake Early Warning & Structural Health Monitoring – Forms small-aperture seismic arrays for rapid event detection and infrastructure monitoring.
✅ Rapid Deployment – Clients report 7x faster surveys than traditional analog systems.
✅ Simplified Cabling – Uses low-cost CAT-6 data cables, allowing for longer cable runs without the signal attenuation issues of analog cables.
✅ Energy-Efficient – Consumes <15W per 8-node branch; a 12V-80Ah battery supports operations for several days.
✅ Modular & Future-Proof – Designed for easy upgrades and repairs, extending product lifespan and reducing waste.
✅ High Precision – Comes with a Calibration Certificate, including a transfer function (poles and zeroes) for accuracy.
✅ Secure Deployment – Adjustable tripod mount ensures stable sensor positioning for precise data collection.
The DA system is a scalable, synchronized, and reliable seismic monitoring solution, making it an ideal choice for earthquake early warning, structural health monitoring, and real-time hazard detection applications.
