OVERVIEW

Description

Virtual Reality-Based Dual-Operator Welding Training System

The QuakeLogic QL-Dual User Welding Simulator is a virtual reality-based dual-operator welding training system for vocational, technical, and industrial welding education. This VR Welding Simulator offers a realistic and immersive training environment for learners.

It allows two students to train at the same time on one simulator. Therefore, it helps increase classroom efficiency and training capacity.

The system provides a safe virtual welding environment. As a result, students can practice welding without real arc exposure, fumes, consumable material waste, or workshop safety risks.

Dual-User Welding Training Capability

The QL-Dual User Welding Simulator is designed for side-by-side training. In addition, each student can perform independent welding exercises with separate devices and training settings.

Key dual-user features include:

  • Two simultaneous welding trainees
  • Two VR headsets
  • Two welding device sets
  • Two welding stand sets
  • Independent welding exercises per student
  • Separate scoring and performance tracking
  • Different coupons and joint configurations per user
  • Independent Welding Procedure Specification settings

Because of this dual-user configuration, instructors can train two students using one machine.
