The SL06 VelBox is a compact, all-in-one high-resolution seismograph designed for rapid deployment and long-term seismic monitoring. Built on the proven SL06 platform, it integrates three high-performance seismometers, making it an efficient, reliable, and field-ready solution that becomes operational within seconds of activation.
The VelBox supports a wide range of embedded sensors, from cost-effective 4.5 Hz geophones to high-resolution 0.1 Hz sensors. Additionally, the VelBox Hybrid version includes MEMS accelerometers, enabling it to capture both weak seismic signals and strong ground motion (up to 2g acceleration), making it suitable for all types of seismic scenarios.
Robust & Field-Proven Design
The VelBox is engineered for durability. Milled from a solid aluminum block and coated for corrosion resistance, it withstands extreme environmental conditions and mechanical stress. In the event of structural collapse, its reinforced casing protects recorded data, ensuring reliability in critical seismic events.
