The QL-AURION-6 is a high-resolution triaxial force-balance accelerograph for earthquake and structural monitoring. It combines three ultra-low-noise accelerometers, 24-bit data acquisition, GPS timing, local storage, and Ultra-Fast SeedLink streaming. The system also provides a 144 dB dynamic range, sub-60 ng/√Hz noise floor, IP68 protection, and flexible network communication.

Under the specified conditions, RTC accuracy can reach 1 µs relative to UTC. Therefore, multiple instruments can operate as accurately synchronized stations within distributed seismic networks.

The QL-AURION-6 uses a rugged machined-aluminium enclosure with an IP68 protection rating. The instrument operates from −20°C to +70°C.
It accepts a 9–36 VDC power supply and consumes less than 3.2 W during standard operation. In addition, QuakeLogic offers an optional internal UPS battery.
These features make the instrument suitable for remote and unattended monitoring stations.
The instrument measures 205 × 170 × 107 mm and weighs approximately 4.0 kg, depending on configuration. It includes a bottom keyhole and three leveling feet. Wall mounting is also supported.
QuakeLogic assembles, calibrates, and tests every QL-AURION-6 at its facility in Roseville, California, USA. The facility operates under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
