QL-Unitree Go2 EDU+ Quadruped Robotic Platform with Hesai XT16 3D LiDAR
QL-Unitree Go2 EDU+ is a compact quadruped robotic platform with Hesai XT16 3D LiDAR, NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB, onboard AI computing, and advanced mobility for robotics development, AI research, and autonomous perception.
OVERVIEW
Description
The QL-Unitree Go2 EDU+ is a compact quadruped robotic platform for robotics development, AI research, autonomous perception, and education. It combines agile mobility, onboard computing, 3D LiDAR sensing, and visual perception in one mobile system. As a result, teams can build and test advanced robotic applications more efficiently.
Mobility and Performance
The platform delivers strong motion performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. It reaches speeds up to 2 m/s and supports an 8 kg typical payload with a 12 kg maximum payload. In addition, it can climb slopes up to 40° and overcome obstacles up to 16 cm. Therefore, it fits demanding research and field testing tasks.
Sensing and AI Computing
QL-Unitree Go2 EDU+ includes a Hesai XT16 3D LiDAR, an HD front camera with a 120° ultra wide-angle lens, a foot-end force sensor, and a wireless vector positioning tracking module. Moreover, it uses an 8-core high-performance processor and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB module with 100 TOPS. Because of this setup, the robot supports mapping, navigation, perception, and AI-based autonomy on a single platform.
Development and Connectivity
The system supports secondary development, graphical programming, SDKs, APIs, and perception development interfaces with sample code. It also includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a built-in 4G module, USB 3.0, HDMI, and Ethernet. In other words, developers can move from testing to deployment with less integration effort.
Applications
Because of these capabilities, QL-Unitree Go2 EDU+ works well for universities, robotics labs, AI developers, and autonomous systems research teams. It offers a flexible mobile robotics platform for research, testing, and real-world experimentation.
