QuakeLogic AURA-ID Passive Infrasound Drone Detection System
AURA-ID is a passive infrasound drone detection system that identifies and tracks UAVs by analyzing low-frequency acoustic signatures generated by drone rotors. The system provides long-range detection (2–10 km), works in all weather conditions, and detects RF-silent or autonomous drones without emitting any RF signals.
OVERVIEW
Description
The QuakeLogic AURA-ID Passive Infrasound Drone Detection System detects and tracks drones using their acoustic signatures. Instead of relying on radar or RF monitoring, AURA-ID listens to the low-frequency sound produced by UAV rotor systems. As a result, the system detects RF-silent and autonomous drones that traditional systems may miss.
AURA-ID uses a distributed network of synchronized infrasound sensors. These sensors capture low-frequency pressure waves created by drone propellers. Advanced signal processing algorithms then analyze the signals and determine the drone’s direction, location, and movement in real time.
Because the system operates passively, it does not emit RF signals. Therefore, it remains difficult to detect, jam, or interfere with. In addition, the system works reliably in day or night conditions and in all weather environments, including fog, rain, and dust.
Key Advantages
-
Fully passive drone detection (no RF emissions)
-
Detects RF-silent and autonomous UAVs
-
Long-range detection up to 2–10 km
-
Works in day, night, and all weather conditions
